Biodiversity 911: Saving Life on Earth, the World Wildlife Fund’s first traveling exhibition, introduces the youngest visitors to science museums and nature centers to the important story of biodiversity. Based on a foundation of scientific research and field experiences by WWF, an agency that has supported efforts around the world to protect the earth’s endangered wildlife and wildlands for forty years, the NSF-funded exhibition tackles global environmental issues such as overfishing, deforestation, pollution and habitat loss with humor, energy and lots of hands-on appeal.

The exhibit’s principal attraction is a 12-minute original film by Aardman Animations, award-winning producers of Chicken Run and the Wallace & Grommet series, combining their incomparable clay animation techniques with live action footage in a groundbreaking new style. Engaging full body activities, larger-than-life models, computer simulations, interactive video games and multisensory experiences draw visitors of all ages into an exploration of biodiversity, at home and around the globe.
